Lady M Makes a Comeback in Singapore
Food Info

Less than a month after the closure of all Lady M outlets in Singapore, the famed New York patisserie has announced its return to the city.

The comeback will kick off with a pop-up store at United Square from Feb 7 to 28, as stated in a press release on Feb 4. Subsequently, a permanent store will reopen at Jewel Changi Airport, marking the debut of Lady M's highly anticipated cake boutique.

Earlier in January, the Jewel Changi Airport store had temporarily ceased operations. Meanwhile, Lady M outlets at Orchard Central, Ion Orchard, Westgate, and South Beach are now permanently closed, according to Google Maps.

The brand's website hints at an upcoming "new Lady M experience."

The pop-up will exclusively offer a limited-edition Chinese New Year gift set priced at $128 for in-store purchase and $108 for online orders and on-site collection. The set includes 32 mini crepe biscuits and a vegan leather horse-shaped charm.

Fans eagerly anticipating Lady M's signature mille crepes cakes can look forward to the reopening of the Jewel Changi Airport outlet.

Established in New York in 2001, Lady M first arrived in Singapore in 2013 through a licensing agreement with lifestyle company Caerus Holding, which concluded on Dec 11, 2025.

With the end of this agreement, Lady M's CEO Ken Romaniszy expressed interest in playing a more direct role in the Singapore market.

A new entity named Babem SG, registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority on Aug 28, 2025, has been established as Lady M's Southeast Asia headquarters.

Leading Babem SG is Singaporean Debbie Gan, appointed as the company's Chief Operations Officer and Lady M's spokesperson. Job listings online indicate that Babem SG is actively recruiting new staff.

The Lady M pop-up store will welcome customers from Feb 7 to 28, operating daily from 11am to 9pm at B1 United Square, 101 Thomson Road.
